service fs failed: injecting event blocked for 60s

Description

I get this error when running a container (of Immich) that is binding to a folder containing thousands of pictures and videos (26,606 files, 417 GB, I'm using Immich as an alternative to Google Photos, both the Docker volumes and the folder containing the pictures and videos are on the same drive).

The container starts without any problem, however after 2/3 days, I get this "service fs failed: injecting event blocked for 60s" error and all containers become unresponsive and unreachable.

After clicking on the button "Quit", when I try to start Docker Desktop again, nothing happens, I need to completely restart the machine and then finally Docker Desktop starts correctly.

Similar error has already been reported for

• MacOS: service fs failed: injecting event blocked for 60s for-mac#7759
• Windows: service fs failed: injecting event blocked for 60s for-win#14947

Reproduce

1. Start Docker Desktop
2. Start container that has a binding to a folder containing a lot of data
3. Wait a few hours or days
4. Error Pop up "service fs failed: injecting event blocked for 60s" will appear

Expected behavior

I expect Docker Desktop to not crash
