Hotbar Item gets deleted when shield breaks in back slot

Hello! I discovered a game breaking bug which deletes your items.
Step by step:

1. Put a low durability shield in the backslot
2. Select an item in hotbar
3. Block with the shield using R (Select backslot key)
4. When the shield gets to 0 durability it breaks and the selected item in the hotbar vanishes.

Hope this gets fixed because i really like this mod!

It seems like if your inventory ticks at all while you're using the back slot's item, your held item gets replaced with the back slot item. (I assume this is due to it not changing how the use method returns the held item? Though I may be wrong.)

Adding onto this issue, the Sophisticated Backpack's feeding upgrade will duplicate your back slot to your held slot every time it eats, rendering the back slot practically worthless while using it. I had it delete one of my most valuable items and have since had more than 10 maxed out anchorblades duplicated on my server.

Unfortunately as far as I know, Arsenal and most of the other mods RAT makes don't get updates past their initial release besides some small fixes.

Yea thats what i thought... This project is unfortunately abandoned. While playing i've encountered more and more bugs involving that back slot, like it not being cleared upon death. For my modpack, there isn't a duplication glich i've discovered so far but when more bugs start appearing we might have to remove the mod :(

Sadly there are several with arsenal + enchancements + different mods
If an entity can store an item and it can be placed using backslot and disarm grabbed then yeah ggs, dupe.
This one is not the dev's fault in my eyes, its more of the mod has poor interactions with some other mods.
Disarm and Backslot do NOT mix well 😭

yea true. I also discovered the backslot dupe recently. Easiest one is to place one block in in and you can place it without the stack depleting...
We might have to disable the slot and find an alternative
