Keyboard shortcut Alt+S in File Save dialog #32

Hi, Thanks for a great program.
Some time (years) ago something changed. In good old days, when you open a File Dialog with File -> Save or File -> Save As, there were universally adopted keyboard shortcuts that would reveal themselves by pressing the Alt key, then one letter in each button text would be underlined, and if you then pressed that letter the button would be activated. Furthermore, if possible it would be the first letter, and as save dialogs are not that crowded with buttons, it was near universal that Alt+S would activate the Save button and complete the file save process.
What happened is that now within that file save dialog Alt+S activates a Search function, which takes you out of the file save flow, it overwrites the filename you have just written, and I don't understand why this function belongs in that file dialog. There seems to be no way to activate that Save button, I have to reach for the mouse and the workflow is interrupted.
Do you know what happened - I guess it is a QT thing, as it also affects all KDE programs, but a few other programs still have it the 'good old way'.
Any fix or information would be highly appreciated.
