Unfortunately, firmware 1.5.3 has some serious errors:
- In alarm mode, the tracker sends packets every 15 to 20 seconds, regardless of the value set for AT+ATDC, this will certainly violate the fair use guidelines! This bug is fixed with version 1.5.6.
- The alarm mode is not terminated after one hour as before, but remains active until manually terminated, this issue also exists in version 1.5.6
Furthermore:
-
The value for the long press of the button to trigger the alarm, which is set via AT+EAT, has been changed from seconds to milliseconds, although the manual has not been adapted. In addition, contrary to the description in the manual, 2 s (2000 ms) instead of 5 s are now preset.
-
The help for the AT commands that is output at “AT?” contains incorrect descriptions of the commands, e.g. “Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink” for commands that execute something else:
AT+LON : Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink
AT+CHE : Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink
AT+CHS : Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink
AT+NMEA353 : Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink
AT+NMEA886 : Enable/Disable LED activity for uplink
- As of version 1.5.3, the changelog states: “Change the sleep state, you can sleep for a long time, such as 4 hours, 24 hours, etc.” but does not explain how to set this.
Please fix the errors and adapt the manual and Wiki to the firmware changes.
