A big yet tired elephant in the room I have been tempted to ask since stumbling upon this continuation of the mod.

I am not requesting an immediate port.

Hell, there it's not even out of "beta" yet. Instead I want to put it out there to either have a clear statement or a potential consideration of a future added support, preferably with Embeddium in mind. For all I care, give it another two years.

I get there originally being attempts made, albeit abandoned sadly. At least maybe give people some hope, okay?

I don't think it would be hard but compatibility would probably be with Sodium and not Embeddium. Anyway for now I will not do anything before knowing if there is interest merging current changes into upstream.

If you support Sodium, you most likely support Embeddium, because it's a fork. Probably the biggest difference is that it has Reese's Sodium Options built-in.

Anyway, does this work with Sinytra Connector?

It works with synatra connector with an extra config file (available on curseforge i think ?). It will not work with embedium since embedium hasn't sodium 0.6 feature due to license changes

Makes sense. There is already Acedium, which works with Connector, but it's not maintained anymore. I use it in basically all of my instances.

Will probably do it at some point since sodium cross compile to neoforge now. Need to switch to Mojmap + parchment first, will probably not come before sodium 0.7 tho

As sodium 0.7, nvidium will work with Synatra connector

I often play Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1

This could be cool if it worked with Embeddium.

Can't maintain compatibility with embedium since it's going in different direction than sodium, try acedium

I already use Acedium, I was just hoping for something more maintained. It's still very stable though. I haven't noticed any real issues with Acedium. Only minor things like the tab appearing twice sometimes,

Also old versions of nvidium works with connector, the issue is on sodium side and the fix has been merged for 0.7 but can be backported:
