not able to run the example

Hi

I tried running you example. It complied without any error. But not sure what is the starting point. I tried http://localhost/index.html (I changed it to post 80) but gave a 404 greatly would apprentice your help.

Hi TK,

Try "http://localhost:[port]/api/votes/index.html". (substitute the port # if not 80)

If you look at the VotesController.cs file, you will see this attribute on the class:

[Route("api/[controller]")]

This is how you can derive the base path to the API ([controller] is the class name but without the "Controller" suffix). Each method then has its own sub-path to append to this.
