Dummy Cells

It is not straight forward how to deal with dummy cells.
The simplest dummy cell typically used consists of resistor R_ct (charge transfer) in parallel with a capacitor C_dl (double layer) which are in series with R_s (solution resistance).
How can these type of "electrochemical" systems be accounted for so all the tools (e.g. for analysis) can be used without changes?
