Remember expanded TOC sections when navigating between pages #1826

If you expand a section of the documentation (through our + expandable buttons), navigate to any of the sub pages, then go back in browser history, all the expansions are again collapsed (making it very hard to pick up where you left off).
This is related to the larger issue of maintaining context and providing a path back as users navigate through the docs.
