4 open PRs going back an entire year all fixing the same thing, one needs to be merged

There are many pages giving people steps to fix the deprecated "`plist_options'" issue with these, and there are 4 PRs of people making changes to get that deprecated (and now blocked) setting out of these configs.

A maintainer needs to approve one so we stop hitting the issue.

It seems installing with homebrew for elastic softwares is not supported anymore. At least, the homebrew installation instruction is removed from their website.
