The recommended curl install script failed due to a LibreSSL/TLS version conflict on macOS, the Homebrew formula pointed to a broken CDN (elide.zip), and the .pkg installer set incorrect directory permissions (700 instead of 755) on the install folder, blocking execution. I had to manually chmod 755 /opt/elide/1.0.0 to get the binary running.
