Portable version of BindControl?

Would it be interesting or useful to create a "portable" version of BindControl that saved its config and the profiles in its own directory? It would still need to write the actual bindfiles somewhere outside of there for 255-character-etc reasons, so it would be mooooostly portable but not strictly so. This is worth pondering. Anyone who sees this and has an opinion please weigh in.

It would certainly be handy for not needing to track down bindcontrol.ini in %APPDATA% if you want to wipe your default profile. To be honest, with gaming related utilities like this, I generally expect them to be self-contained, so I'm all in favor.

My only hesitation is that if the file layout of the app changes, the practice of splatting new ZIP files on top of the existing directory might actually cause problems, and then the indicated remedy is to delete the existing folder and pull a fresh one from the new ZIPfile. And if the config and profiles are in there.... It's not -super- likely that there'll be a breaking change to the layout that requires that, but that chance is also not zero.

This might also point toward wanting an actual installer instead of just a ZIP file but that sounds like a lot of work.
