Keyboard not active during Factory Reset

Tried to do a factory Reset as per:
https://badge.emfcamp.org/wiki/TiLDA_MK4/reset

Asked me to select a Wifi Network.
The keypad does not function in reset mode and I am unable to enter my wifi password.
