Mod 4 Skip Logic or QC Rule issue- CURSCHT3-5

According to the QC rules, CURSCHT3-5 should only be displayed if CURSCHT2 = 1, 2, 3, OR 4. Many participants spanning from 2022-2024 gave no response to any of the CURSCHT2 questions and still saw and responded to CURSCHT3-5

We tried to reproduce this as the code is already in place for the logic. Here is what Gwen found:

I tried the renderer and was unable to reproduce this. I tried it on https://episphere.github.io/quest-dev/ also and on there I was experiencing some big looping problems and couldn't get to the school commute section at all. Were they doing it on the latter renderer? If so, it seems to be a problem with that.

The issue seems to have been present for every version of this survey. As the issue started in 2022 and has continued as recent as last week

I think we only have dev/stage.

Also curious, for about what percentage of people are you seeing this issue? Is this happening frequently or infrequently?

There aren't any instances in stage, likely from limited testing. The variables CURSCHT3-5 don't even appear in DEV.

But you mentioned the loops in the renderer were also having issues though?

There are 212 errors, 11 from 2022, 74 from 2023, 124 from 2024 , 3 from 2025. Not a substantial percentage of the near 42,000 people to have finished Module 4 but definitely a high error count that's been consistent

The looping issues were only in dev.
