Hello world very funky on Ubuntu 10.10

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run the example helloworld.py on trunk [r75] (examples/misc/helloworld.py) 
on Ubuntu 10.10.

2. See this (attached)

3. Be very sad, since there's what looks to be video corruption.

Example Works no problem for me on Ubuntu 11.04 with r90, however I am using a 
custom kernel with proprietary NVIDIA drivers. 
I'm not sure if this particular problem lies with pyprocessing. Video card/and 
or video drivers are often the root cause of opengl problems reported on the 
vanilla processing discussion boards (particularly for linux users). Sometimes 
it is conflicting 'Eye Candy' compiz etc, at other-times it is poxy mesa 
drivers, which are desperately poor performing compared with the proprietary 
drivers.

I'm on Ubuntu as well. The first time I ran pyprocessing, it worked as expected 
except anti-aliasing wasn't working, and it was flickering. Next time I tried 
it (after a reboot) I had similar problems to Dave. Changing the policy to 
SINGLE_FLIP_POLICY is the only thing that will get graphics to show, but still 
i have no anti-aliasing and with that policy the screen is visually redrawn 
every cycle, making it less than ideal. The java version of processing works 
flawlessly so I don't think it's an unfixable driver issue.
