Down-voting reloads comments page

First, many thanks for your work on this browser plugin. I've used it for several years and can't imagine reading HN any other way (though I did hack up the style sheet a bit to build a poor man's dark mode 🙂) . Also, the new feature that shows the number of new comments on an story since the last view is 🔥!

I recently upgraded to 1.6.0.2 from a pretty old 1.5.x version and I'm finding that while up-voting works as before, down-voting on the comments page results in a full page reload. That's especially undesirable because it resets the left-margin indicators for which comments are new since the last page load.
