Binary Management for Audio

Test Results:

• Successfully installed the binaries on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• The user is able to open the Scribe application for audio functionality.
• As discussed with Anu, the audio functionality on the RDX server for Windows could not be tested. The audio functionality was fully tested on Ubuntu OS.

Functionality Tested:

• Recording with multiple pauses.
• Stop functionality
• Playing the recording with multiple pauses.
• Pausing playback.
• Rewinding the playback.
• Clicking anywhere on the waveform to verify that the audio plays from the selected point.
• Deleting the recording.
• Adjusting the volume bar from very low to high by clicking at different points.
• Adjusting the playback speed between 1x, 1.5x, and 2x.
• Connecting earphones and verifying all the above functionalities.

QA Suggestions:

In the speed dropdown, if the user does not select any option and clicks outside the dropdown, it does not close automatically. For better user experience consider adding a feature, where the dropdown automatically closes when the user clicks outside of it.
