Hello, I know you deprecated op-bootnode.
You recommended using bootnode from geth, but they also deprecated their bootnode.

What is the alternative for it

you can still generate a enode string by running a normal op-geth,so it is fine.upstream only removed the pure bootnode software,not bootnode(or just enode) function in geth

Bootnodes are full nodes that are not behind a NAT. Every full node can act as a bootnode as long as it is publicly available.

Oh yeah, but it's heavier to run. Bootnode was very simple to run; you just ran it behind a static public ip and forgot about it. But the full node needs maintenance, more sophisticated monitoring, upgrades...

since opgeth basiclly follow the upstream,i guess theres no chance to get it back.
and there's the situation,if you want to run bootnode, it means you are host your own op stack chain or you want to make sure decentralization and controllability(of your node),in both situation you need run full(or even archive)node to do it.
if you just want to make sure your own node can connect to other node,node software already embed most bootnode(op mainnet,base,unichain and conduit(saas provider which runs lots of op stack chains))

I think bootnode implementation never change from time to time. So, you are free to launch it using code from a historical commit.
