Issue viewing gifs on reddit.com

Description of the problem

Unable to view gifs on reddit.com unless they are hosted by reddit. Gifs hosted on https://i.imgur.com/ for example do not load for me.

Steps to reproduce the problem (include image url here)

1. Navigate to reddit.com
2. Hover over any gif hosted on https://i.imgur.com/
3. Profit? Don't profit? (There is a flicker, but no gif opens for viewing)

OS version, extension version (Chrome only, Firefox is not supported)

Windows 10 x64
Firefox doesn't have versions? Or you do not support the Firefox extension at all? The version listed in Firefox addons is 1.0.139. The Firefox version listed in Firefox options is Version 70.0.1

I am 100% new to github and apologise if I have done any of this wrong. I realise this is a free exstension you have created with your own free time. I really appreciate your hard work and I have to say, it is working so much faster and smoother than the previous one I had been using. Thank you!

Thanks. This is the forked version from the original which only support chrome. This repository is for firefox support.

Thank you very much. I'm not sure why, but Firefox seems to run better on my pc, though I do occasionally switch back to Chrome.

If you could get it working I would be very grateful, but don't stress over it. :)
