Hello, I noticed that the hand shape parameters vary across different frames in the dataset. However, my understanding is that for the same subject, the hand shape should remain constant while only the hand pose parameters change.

Could you clarify why this variation occurs? Is this an expected behavior due to some specific processing, or could there be an issue with the data annotations?

Yes you're correct and that is to minimize the MANO fitting errors.
Recent ReInterHand (https://mks0601.github.io/ReInterHand/) has the same shape parameter across all frames from the same subject.
