What would it take to incorporate comments in the response?

Given a use case of having the output be passed to an Agent

I imagine they'd need to be appended to the end of the document and reference what they were commenting on.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is a great use case for AI agents.

Google Docs comments live in the Drive Comments API rather than the document body, so this would require an additional API call. The plan would be:

1. Add a --comments flag to opt-in
2. Fetch comments via the Drive Comments API
3. Append them at the end of the markdown output, referenced by the quoted/anchored text

Something like:

## Comments

> "the original highlighted text"

**@username** (2025-01-15): The comment content here

The trickiest part is resolving comment anchors back to the document text, but it's doable. I'll look into this!

Usage:

./gdocs-cli --url="https://docs.google.com/document/d/DOC_ID/edit" --comments

Note: This requires the drive.readonly scope. If you previously authenticated, delete ~/.config/gdocs-cli/token.json and re-run --init to grant the new permission.
