Challonge Widget not displaying anything

Have looked at past issues with the same problem and they just say to compile the newest version. I've done that and my streamcontrol is still only displaying the box where you enter challonge username and API key. Nothing else is appearing, been trying to get the new version to compile for days and finally got it to work only to find that I still don't have it :/

Has it been removed from the current version or something?

I don't know if you still want a solution to this but how did you write your challonge-widget in your layout file?
You can test my setup which is configured with a challonge widget.
