can't send spi message: Invalid argument

Hi,
I tried now for a couple of hours to get the bridge to work but I got always the message from the title. I setup the spi which seems to be working with the wire test (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/spi/README.md#troubleshooting) on /dev/spidev0.1. My current guess is that I can't figure out which pins are used to set it up correctly. I am using wPi 12 and 13 (RF24 radio(12, 13, "/dev/spidev0.1") on my pi 2 but still no luck. Can you give me hint?

i'm experiencing the same issue. Did you find any solution to get it working?
I didn't have any luck with Raspberry Pi or Raspberry Pi 3. Followed the guide from http://torsten-traenkner.de/wissen/smarthome/openmilight.php to connect the nRF with the Pi.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong there?
Could you explain how i have to wire it correctly for your code? Or do I have to configure it before compiling? It would be really great, if i could use it and get rid of all milight bridges.
