sorting demo broken?

The sorting demo wasn't working locally and then I noticed that it's not working on the demo site, itself, apparently (https://fin-hypergrid.github.io/core/demo/sorting-example.html)

Note however that this was a primitive sorting example.
I will also bring the full example up to date and post links here.

no hurry on my part - thanks for responding 'cause it wasn't initially clear if I had not set something up right or something. I didn't see an obvious full stack trace in devconsole or else I would have tried to fix it myself or at least provide more info
