Should firebase_options.dart be excluded from source-control

When using the flutterfire configure command, it generates a firebase_options.dart file. This file contains all data about the project, api-keys, app-id, ... Most of this data is not sensitive but stuff like the api-keys are.

I always learned you should not put those kind of things in source control for obvious security reasons. In the docs it says nowhere this filebase_options.dart file should be excluded from source-control. So should it or shouldn't it?
