AMD GPU Compatibility

I have tried unsuccessfully to get the plugin to load in Premiere with my AMD Ryzen 5 7600 RDNA 2 integrated graphics. It works fine with my Nvidia GTX 970 and RTX 3060 Ti. Is it possible to implement compatibility for AMD? Maybe if hardware decode is too hard with AMD, could software decode fallback be possible so the plugin can at least load in on these systems?
