Json binding to formMapping ?

Hi, as i understand it, we can bind a formMapping with requestParams.

But is there anyway i could bind a formMapping with a json ?
Sometimes we are doing ajax with json payload instead of full form submission.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
