PDF export: Thick copper traces overlap pad drill holes

Current Behaviour

When exporting a PCB design to PDF production format, the copper layer traces overlap and cover the drill holes of the pads if the traces are set to thick or extra-thick.
The result is that the drill holes are hidden in the PDF output.
See the attached screenshot for an example.

Build:
Tested on Version 1.0.5 and previous versions

Operating System:
The issue occurs on both Windows 10/11 and Ubuntu 22

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a PCB design
2. Connect pads with traces
3. Choose thick or extra thick trace width
4. Export the PCB as PDF for production
5. Check the copper layers in the exported file

Expected Behaviour

Drill holes of pads should remain clearly visible in the PDF export, even when using thick or extra-thick traces.
The copper traces should not overlap or hide the drill circles.

The overlap certainly doesn't look good.

We could either substract the hole from the copper, or completly fill them.

This depends on the process used. For PDF, I'd assume manual processing.

You want one PDF, that can be used to etch,
and then, without any other mask, we directly see on the PCB where to drill. Is that right?

Or would it be better to have separate PDFs, one for copper layer, and one for the drill postion and sizes?

Yes, my expectation is to have one single PDF that can be used directly for etching, and at the same time shows clearly the drill holes of the pads. So the copper traces should not cover or fill the drills, but rather subtract the holes so they remain visible in the same PDF export. This way, without generating or overlaying another mask, we can both etch the copper and see exactly where to drill.
