Retain basic EXIF image data when uploading

Currently I believe that all EXIF data is cleared (not on purpose, but from the way we handle the file) from the image when it is uploaded to an album. We probably want some data to be removed, but it would probably be nice to keep the time the photo was taken (among other things) so that images could be properly sorted by this property later.
