Hi, I’d like to apply for this issue!
I’m a frontend engineer with experience handling API error states and building user-friendly feedback systems that keep UX smooth even under failures like rate limiting.

Plan:
I’ll intercept HTTP 429 responses globally (via Axios interceptor or fetch wrapper) and trigger a centralized banner component. I’ll design a reusable, non-intrusive banner that clearly informs users they’re rate limited and optionally suggests retry timing. I’ll ensure it avoids duplication (single instance with debounce) and auto-dismisses or updates when the state changes. I’ll also handle edge cases like repeated requests, navigation changes, and ensure accessibility (ARIA live region for announcements). Styling will align with the app’s design system.
