when running... first it downloads a lot and then it exists

All other cmd attempts seem to do the same

docker run -v /data/osm-postgresql:/var/lib/postgresql homme/openstreetmap-website   initdb startdb createuser createdb createdbfuncs migrate

Perhaps I am missing something.

Hi - apologies for the late response. I've just tried the latest image and it works fine for me. You may have experienced a docker issue. To test, first do:

docker pull homme/openstreetmap-website

Then try:

docker run -t -i homme/openstreetmap-website cli

If you get to a command prompt within the container then all other commands should work fine.
