Thanks for creating this issue and those related to it. It will be great to have first-class support for these instead of using kml:Element, which is what I currently am doing.

@k-mack glad it's helpful! If there are any features you're looking for feel free to create an issue with more info on your use case. I had prioritized geometry features initially, but I'm now adding issues to get all of the elements in the spec to prepare for a 1.0 release
