Git Diff: an option to show only uncommited changes?

I'm seeing git diffs everywhere in the app. To me personally it's just redundant info as soon as I've committed.
Should there be an option in the app to reduce diff and changed lines only to uncommitted files, maybe?
This will reduce visual noise in the app
