My 2c

• If a plugin has a UI, it should be launchable via the Plugins menu.
• Plugins settings should be displayed and configured via the standard GE settings dialog.
  Think of Visual Studio or VSCode - (with few exceptions) all extensions' settings are added to the tree

For plugins’ own UI, not related to settings, I agree.
Some menu tree like “Plugins -> plugin name -> plugin menu item, declared by itself, that will open a GUI”

I agree.

I’m going to open another issue here about adding UI element from plugin to GitExtension.
