You need to follow https://www.bluetooth.com/develop-with-bluetooth/qualify/ to get qualification. Membership and qualification fees are quite expensive. Sometimes, manufacturers may also delegate third-party labs to conduct the process. I don't think Bumble has any user using it for qualification (or even production), and we don't have a plan to make it PTS-ready, though for simple GATT scenarios it might not be too complicated. |

Hi @zxzxwu , Thanks for your feedback! Out of curiosity, I signed up for a free SIG membership, and I've been using the qualification workspace and Profile Tuning Suite to test Bumble. I've had reasonable success with some of the simple tests, but haven't gone much further. I won't be pursuing qualification as the fees are very high for that, but I may keep playing around with Bumble and PTS for my own curiosity about Bluetooth. Just wondering, how is Bumble used at Google and by others? It is mainly used as a testing/playground? Would it be useful if Bumble worked with auto-pts, so that it could be automatically tested against the spec? |

I think that it would be great if we could cover as much of the PTS with Bumble as possible, even if it isn't the intent of the project to be a stack used for production devices. |

auto-pts still require Windows, and it doesn't support any virtual infra (though probably feasible with some hacks), so it's a bit challenging to integrate it to Bumble. |

Hi,
Just wanted to start by saying thank you for such a helpful tool! I've learnt so much about Bluetooth by being able to explore and experiment easily in Python.
I started using Bumble as a way to experiment with Bluetooth, and I ended up developing a prototype of a product with it, which is working very well. I'm considering actually launching my product, and I'm curious about getting it qualified through the Bluetooth SIG using the Profile Tuning Suite (PTS), and I was just wondering if anyone has done this or if anyone thinks it's even possible.
I realise Bumble is in alpha and isn't production-ready yet, but I only want to get a small portion qualified (basic BLE advertising, scanning, and GATT), so I'm (probably naively) thinking it might be possible?
Just curious if anyone has any thoughts about this
Thanks!
