You need a boot command. See https://gopro.github.io/labs/control/tech/ for all docs. You modern commands to set up are Then you need Which loads a script called bt. So you will also need a But as on don't know your timelapse setti As a single QR Code
Now every time the camera receives USB power (power still needs to be good as TUSB doesn't fix issue with poor power), it will right the bt script (from the SD card), which enabled Night Lapse Photo, with a 5s interval, and auto Shutter, then starts. Continues until the power is removed (or you press stop.) |

Hello all!
I'm currently capturing a time-lapse of a renovation at work with a GoPro 13 Black, and I'm trying to figure out how to have the time-lapse recordings start automatically when the camera turns on. I'm using the timelapse photo setting, not the timelapse video option. I currently have the camera plugged into wall power with no internal battery due to overheating issues. I have both the trust USB power (MTUSB=1) and wake on power (MWAKE=2) settings permanently enabled to make accessing and starting the recordings manually easier (the camera is mounted near the ceiling in a warehouse, so I'm trying to keep physical adjustments to a minimum), but I would like to make it so the recordings start automatically. If possible, I'd like to continue recording the time-lapse as a series of photos instead of one super long video.
How would you recommend I accomplish this? More details available upon request.
