*WAKE=2 regression from H12 2.32.70 to 2.40.70

Hi all,

I just updated the new 2.40.70 firmware to my hero 12 and permanent WAKE=2 is not working anymore. I have flashed back to 2.32.70 and then it works again. In all cases I have verified that the WAKE=2 feature is enabled and it shows on the screen. I have seen that it works on plugging in the USB on 2.40.70, but with 2.32.70 it also worked when just inserting the battery, the latter is a function i use a lot for naked gopro's.

If there's a workaround I'd be interested to know it, but for now I have just flashed back to 2.32.70 since it simply just works on that firmware. I'd be nice if it could be fixed on 2.40.70 too.

Agreed something has changed for the battery insert. However USB insert/power is booting the camera, which is how most are using this feature. But this will be a problem for some naked cameras which might use the battery power path, rather than USB power path. Stick with 2.32.70 for now. I will keep this ticket open if HERO12 get another Labs update.

I have experienced the same issue with 2.40.70.

What I'm using concretely:

• Gopro 12 with no battery in it
• this command: BOOT="!Lbt"!SAVEbt=!1NWAKE=2
• with 2.32.70 the camera wakes on connection to USB power, with 2.40.70 nothing happens.
