How do I throttle api calls during the build?

I am trying to run yarn build but the step where it does next build fails because it smashes the server too hard where it starts to time out

Only have 50 products

Any way to implement rate limit or throttling?

I believe you can limit the cpus in the config vercel/next.js#65983
Also, make sure your Magneto instance has cache enabled etc else it will probably choke on everything.
