Working demo?

Are there any working demos and examples available? The map viewer and landscape demo repositories no longer work with the latest version of the engine.

Unfortunately no, at the moment, for the past few months my focus has been on making a full game with the engine. I expect that will involve many more major changes, so I've felt that it wouldn't be a good use of my time to keep the demos here in sync, but after the game is released (hopefully early access in october/november) I'll come back and spend some time bringing stuff up to date, documenting things, adding less janky demos, that sort of thing.

Hello, are there any updates as far as a working demo? I tried compiling the Map Editor project but it still does not work.

Hey, yeah the code from the old map viewer has been moved into a new repo at https://github.com/grend3d/grend-base to serve as a template for new projects. It was missing some updates for recent changes, so I've pushed those, I think you should be able to build it now. I also made a web demo for deferred shading, https://mushrom.itch.io/deferred-shading-demo
