The turbo firmware overclocks the cores to 400Mhz and allows to capture up to 200Msps in regular modes and up to 400Msps in blast mode, while the non-turbo firmwares overclock it only to 200Mhz so you can capture up to 100Msps in regular modes and 200Msps in blast mode. The 400Mhz overclock also rises the core voltage so it may reduce the lifespan of the pico, that's why it's optional. |

I notice that the firmware releases include "Pico_2" and "Pico_2_turbo" --- is this a different processor or just an optimized firmware ??
Because I cannot find a pico board with Turbo in its name.
