The new console is designed to provide users with a convenient dashboard that offers a brief summary of key information about WildFly. This dashboard includes multiple cards, each highlighting various aspects of WildFly. Some cards are universal, while others are tailored to either standalone or domain mode operations.

This issue is intended for a discussion to discover the best set of cards to display on the dashboard. As a starting point, here are some suggestions:

Universal

• General info: WildFly name, version, configuration, operation mode, and stability level
• Deployments: Number and status of deployments
• Log file: Number of warnings / errors in the log file
• Host: OS name and version, # of cores
• JVM: JVM name and version
• Runtime: Uptime, running mode, health status
• Memory: Heap and non-heap memory usage
• Threads: Min, max, current thread count
• Help: Links to documentation, chat, forums and mailing lists

Domain

• Number of hosts, servers, profiles, and server groups

Hi @hpehl, regarding this issue, do you have in mind some tool (UX tool, Dashboard tool) that you planning to use in order to build the dashboards? Some time ago I create an example for Keycloak using Dashbuilder . I don't know if Dasbuilder still receiving updates, but maybe it's an alternative to include dashboards on HAL.

Hi @pedro-hos I quickly looked into Dashbuilder. It looks promising and feature-rich. But I'm not sure if it fits the requirements of the HAL management console. We read the data from the management model, and we want to use the latest PatternFly 6 charts to match the look and feel of the rest of the console. I don't think Dashbuilder can provide that.
