Code of Conduct

🎯 Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders of Hall of Codes pledge to make participation in our community a welcoming and respectful experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We commit to fostering an environment of inclusivity, learning, and collaboration. Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or exclusionary practices will not be tolerated.


🤝 Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Offering constructive feedback
  • Gracefully accepting feedback
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy toward other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Discrimination, harassment, or abuse
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments
  • Publishing others’ private information (e.g. addresses or contact info)
  • Personal attacks or political/religious arguments

👮 Enforcement Responsibilities

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and may take appropriate corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, or harmful.

Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. Your privacy will be respected.


📜 Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces—online and offline—including the organization’s GitHub repositories, social media, communication platforms, and events.
