Deployment without proxy not working

Hello there,

I've tried deploying BlueSpice without the proxy container as I already have a reverse proxy running on port 80 & 443. Doing this the instance shows no errors in the logs but isn't reachable either.

Is there a variable or other option I missed to disable the proxy and make the web container reachable from the $WIKI_PORT?
As I looked through it, it didn't seem the WIKI-PORT variable does anything at all for the published port.

Hello Sasu,

thanks for your feedback. In your case you can probably map the proxy container's 80 port to your host machine's 8080 port (for example), then use your reverse proxy (communicating with 8080 port of your host) to handle external connections, including those HTTPS-ones requiring certificates. You might want to make sure that your firewall protects 8080 port properly.

Speaking of WIKI_PORT - it is used by the wiki itself, e.g here. It should represent the eventually published port of your wiki service, e.g if after certain special setup your wiki is on https://your.wiki.com:8443. If you do not change the yml files directly, the sense-making combinations of WIKI_PROTOCOL and WIKI_PORT are either http/80 or https/443.

Alternatively, you might be interested in a previous unofficial experiment, publishing wiki using certain public services.
