Can't input text in text boxes, draw in draw boxes

I know this is a known issue, but I figured I'd put it up here. Can't input text to text boxes, or draw in draw boxes. Both of these issues are as the notebook owner.

Kyle, I know you said you know how to fix this, but that your fix caused more problems. Can you explain the fix to me and Peter so that we can figure it out?
