I had an issue with the fur fin texture not being scaled consistently between meshes and always needing to crank density to the max for the fur texture to not be stretched. Further, I noticed that varying the base map tiling affected this.

On line 82 in Fin/Lit.hlsl I removed the length calculation from the line and now the density parameter works more intuitively (IMO) and is not affected by basemap scaling.
