Start/stop transmission-daemon on demand

I use transmission only sometimes on my laptop and don't want to have it running all the time.
I would like an option that automatically starts `transmission-daemon` if it can't connect to it and a function that calls `transmission-remote --exit` to stop the daemon again (or a toggle that automatically stops the server when I press 'q' in the transmission buffer).
