RFXCOM connected via Network does not work if rebooted

The problem

I have a RXFCOM device connected via the Network (rather than USB) if the device gets rebooted for any reason the integration no longer works. Is there any way to resolve this?

Hi,

I have the exact same problem. Disconnected the RFXCOM device from power to replace it and the configuration in the HA is broken. Initialization does not work. I assume that when I remove the integration completely and re-add it that it will work. But then I would also loose the 50 devices that are already configured in HA.
I hop this will be solved soon. Thanks for the effort.

@elupus it doesn't seem to generate any logs, I use might as a receiver only, it just stops responding. Any idea how I can generate logs?

Turn on debug logging on the integration. Reproduce the fault. Turn off debug logs and upload the generated file.

At this point it time it seems to be stuck in a loop of Initialising, then I get Failed setup, will retry: Timeout on connect and it just repeats.

HA version core 12.5. IP of RFXTRX is not changed (reserved DHCP lease).

I connected to the RFXTRX with the RFXmngr.exe configuration tool and noticed these lines in the screen output: ERROR: Unexpected response for Packet type=1, Sub type=0 cmnd=0

I did a reset, set mode and safe settings. And the problem was solved.
But what caused this? Since the HA is also able to configure the RFXTRX via the integration, the cause can also be on the HA side.

Know that the RFXCOM developper advises to configure the RFXTRX with the RFXMngr.exe and to leave the protocol selection in the HA integration settings blank.
