Special characters in passwords seem to fail #619
Description
Had a password with the ^ caret symbol in it.
config file omitted the ^ symbol, and failed to log me in on the command line.
I pasted the correct password with the ^ symbol in it, into the config file and saved it.
Access denied message continued.
Seems like a bug.
