TOC of Main Page is wrong

Table of contents displays what is likely classes of headers instead of their text. This differs from behavior on normal pages.

Yea, it looks like the table of contents is populated from the IDs. On most wikipedia pages the ID is as it appears (with the exception of underscores which are converted to spaces). But on the main page they're different for whatever reason.

I figured out a pretty simple fix, by populating the TOC with the text/contents of the heading itself rather than the ID. It works on the main page for me and all the regular articles I've tested.
