Page reloading

Hi guys

Some users have started complaining about the 2FA code.

After entering the username and password, it redirects to a form where it sends a 2FA code to the email and asks to enter it in the field and confirm, but the page keeps reloading on its own and it's not possible to enter any code.

At least 5 users have already complained about the same symptom in the last few weeks.

@FernandoHCFaria We need more information to look into the problem.

• Which versions are you using?
• Steps to reproduce?
• Any errors in the logs? (Humhub, Browser, Server)
• Maybe you can trace the Redirects in the Browser Network Console, so we can see whats happening here
• Can you reproduce this on another installation? E.g. Demo Hosting
• Does it affects all users? Or only specific?

That's the problem. The issue doesn't always happen, but it does exist. It's random and usually occurs when the person uses the browser. And always when the module is activated and the code is sent to the email after the user enters their login credentials.

The video I sent isn't mine, but rather from users who experienced the problem (at least 10 different users, all using a browser. When I asked them to download and install the app, the problem didn't occur).

Sometimes clearing the cache, closing and reopening the browser solves the problem. Other times, they can only use it if they use the mobile app and not the browser.

Well, until this problem is identified and resolved, I have temporarily disabled the 2FA module on my production instance.
