Version: v0.59.17
Description:
The "Show bookmarks bar" toggle in Settings → General has no effect. The bookmarks bar is always visible regardless of whether the toggle is on or off.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Settings → General
- Toggle "Show bookmarks bar" to off
- Bookmarks bar remains visible above the address bar
Expected behavior:
When toggle is off, bookmarks bar should be hidden. Cmd+Shift+B shortcut should also toggle it.
Actual behavior:
Bookmarks bar is always shown, toggle state is not applied.
Notes:
The setting is saved to config (general.showBookmarksBar) but the UI does not react to the config value on startup or when changed.
